Vibrational Healing ~ The Musical Spine

The spine is the central axis of the physical body. It is linked with the chakras and the endocrine glands. There is a network of the nervous system with two important acupuncture meridians, the bladder meridian and the yang energy of Du Mai, which is the Governor meridian in the center of the spine.

One of the channels of the bladder meridian traces the outline of the vertebrae from the first to the sacrum. Points along this meridian on both sides of the spine are known as the energetic reflex points of all the organs of the body. The spine is the link between the ganglia inside and the chakras outside of the body, linking inner and outer energy.

The essence of the spine is like solid sound and therefore responds beautifully to sound healing. Composer and Acupuncturist, Fabien Maman has linked fundamental notes to different parts of the spine applicable to each vertebrae. Tuning forks placed along the spine at specific meridian points are used in this type of healing and balancing. Color light is also used in this technique along with sounds working on an astral level.
